  • CAPT. SAULAT MAJEED KHAN - Managing Director & Group Chairman

  • Capt. Khan served as General Manager from 1974 to 1976 and as Managing Director of Gulfeast Ship Management Ltd. from 1976 to 1986, managing 65 vessels of various types from 10,000 DWT tween-deckers to 300,000 DWT VLCCs, registered under Flags of Convenience as well as National Flags with multinational crews, the operation of three training vessels, which trained over 500 cadets both, deck and engine, to produce quality officers and engineers; and the supervision of 20 new buildings between 15,000 DWT to 75, 000 DWT in Japan, South Korea & Brazil. He is in his present position since 1986.


  • MRS. SWERA S. KHAN - FICS, Director

  • Mrs. Swera S Khan is one of the founding members of Terra-Marine group, overseeing the business development and new projects of the group, has been actively involved in ship broking and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers since 1982 in Hong Kong, where she worked as an independent dry bulk & sales and purchases broker.


  • CAPT. RAFI AHMED - Director Fleet Operations

  • Capt. Ahmed has been 21 years at sea, following 2 years pre-sea training as Cadet on the HMS “Worcester”, Thames, London, and which included 10 years in command, and has 37 years experience in ship management, including 9 years with Gulfeast Ship Management, Hong Kong. He is presently responsible for the company’s Fleet operations, Quality Assurance programs and System Audits.


  • MR. AKHTAR ALAM KHAN - Technical Manager

  • Mr. Khan obtained his Combined First Class Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (Steamship and Motorship) from U.K in 1972. He has served as Chief Engineer for about 15 years with renowned Shipping Companies, and as Engineer Superintendent and Technical Manager for about 19 years. He heads the technical department of the company since 1999.


  • MR. NIZAMUDDIN MUGHAL - Technical Manager

  • Mr. Mughal holds a Chief Engineers certificate obtained in 1980 from Pakistan. He has served as Chief Engineer for about 27 years, and as Technical Manager in the Company for 5 years.


  • MRS. RUBINA OSAMA - Purchasing Manager

  • Mrs. Rubina holds Master of Arts & Economics degree obtained at Karachi in 1998; serving in Company since that time and was promoted to present rank in 2011; presently deals with all stores/spares supplies for management vessels and other clients requiring same.


  • MR. TARIQ MAHMOOD - General Manager

  • Mr. Tariq Mahmood started his career at sea as a Marine Radio Officer in 1979 with Pakistan National Shipping Corp. and joined Terra-Marine Group in 1989 as Fleet Personnel Officer and in 1990 was promoted to General Manager Fleet Personnel. Tariq is assisted by a team of Marine Personnel Officers. He is responsible for efficient functioning of the department.


  • MR. MOHAMMAD YASIN MOOSANI - Manager-Sourcing & Placement (Sea Staff)

  • Mr. Moosani joined Terra-Marine as an Assistant Marine Personnel Officer in 1991, and worked his way up to his present position in 2013. He is responsible for sourcing Seafarers for the principals and verification of all candidates, certificates, qualifications and references. He is well versed with the STCW, MLC 2006 as well as other relevent conventions.


  • MS. SHAZIA FAROOQUI - Marine Personnel Officer

  • Miss Shazia served in our Company from 1997. From 2009 to 2011, she was responsible for business development and is presently serving in the operations department and in addition trians seafarers in Maritime English. She holds a diploma in Logistics and Transportation and is a member of CILT.


  • MR. AMIR SHEIKH - Marine Personnel Officer

  • Mr. Sheikh served in the Company as Assistant Accountant from 2003 till 2006, then served in the U.K. as Sales Assistant and Traffic Warden, returning to the Company in 2007 as Accounts Officer, and dealing with the Shipping Office. then transferred to the Fleet Personnel Department as Marine Personnel Officer in 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Systems obtained in the U.K in 2006.


  • MR. IMTIAZ AHMED - Finance Manager

  • Mr. Imtiaz obtained Higher Secondary Education Certificate with Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Karachi. He has been serving in the Company since July 1989, rising from the rank of Assistant Accountant to Finance Manager. During this period, he obtained Degree of Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the Preston Institute of Science and Technology, and attended short courses on Awareness of Quality Management System, Understanding of OHSAS 18001-2007, ISO 14001-2004, and Understanding of Internal Auditing for ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14000-2004, and OHSAS 18001-2007 Standards. He heads the Accounts Department.


  • MR. ASIF KASIM - Manager MIS

  • Mr. Asif has over 23 years of experience in IT industry. He joined this company in 1992 as a Computer Operator and gradually promoted to Network Administrator. Now he is working as Manager – MIS and Quality Assurance Coordinator since July 2005. He is responsible for designing, operations, and maintenance of a wide range of computers and management information system. He holds a Masters degree in Information Systems.
